ESPN switched to UK after VPN Premium install

Hi, Just curiosity here. But after installing the premiere VPN, when I went to ESPN it keeps coming up ESPN-UK. When I shut VPN down and tried it, I got the usual ESPN. Then when I went back to the VPN, it was all OK. Stayed ESPN.

Any ideas as to why the initial load routed to England? Kinda fun and fascinating, but it was also a bit of a pain in the patootie.

When you use a VPN, it changes your IP address to make it look like you're browsing from a different location. The first time you used the VPN, it connected you to a UK server, so ESPN showed you the UK version. When you turned off the VPN, your original IP address showed up, and you saw your usual ESPN site.

When you reconnected to the VPN, it might have connected you to a server in your actual location or a place that ESPN treats the same as your actual location, so you kept seeing the usual ESPN site.
