How will I know how many PCs are running the same license codes?


I'm having a problem because I bought 2pcs of 3PC license for me and our office I'm not sure whether I've used up the license three times already.

    Yes I know that but I am just sharing this 3 PC license with a friend of mine and I was wondering how will I be able to make sure that my friend is indeed only using 2 PCs for it and the remaining one is for me? Thanks! :)

    And I can tell you that it doesn´t allways work that way (it should but..............).


    I renewed recently my license for an another 2 years for 3 PCs. I received a new 7 figures register key nr. and after Uinstalling BDis 2009 from my laptop and installing BDis 2011, I registred with the new key. Worked fine, so far so good. (the remaining 53 days from my previous license 2009, were added/credited to my account ) :wub:


    Yesterday I tryed to do the same on my daughter´s PC: Uinstalling-Restart-Downloading-Saving-Installing, worked also fine, BUT (why is there always a But :rolleyes: ), when trying to register with the new key from BDis 2011 : NO WAY :angry = Invalid key :( : . After 2 more tryes, I gave up. Later I gave it a new try but this time registering with the "old key value" from BDis 2009 , and surprise-surprise, it did indeed the trick. HURRAH.


    Only to say that it doesn´t always work the way you suggest.


    And further more, I am wondering about when installing BDis 2011 on my Desktop, which key I will have to use? I´ll come back with a feedback when done.

    I sent you the requested file by mail.


    Yesterday I uinstalled BD2011, rebooted, then reinstalled BD2011 and guess what? When I came to registration and I entered the key license that I used previously after upgrating to BD2011 from BD2009 this warning showed up:



    "The license key you have entered is currently used in the product. You cannot register the product twice with the same key."



    Why not, when I purchased a 2 years license for 3PCs, and the product had been UNINSTALLED from this computer.(previously only installed on 2 PCs). <img class=" />


    Later after a new reinstallation try, this msg showed up:


    << We were not able to validate the license key you entered. Please try again, or you can contact Customer Support to get help with this issue." :rolleyes:


    This message appears when the license key you are trying to use is reported as invalid by the BitDefender servers. This can happen if the license key has been invalidated by BitDefender for a breach in the license agreement (pirated license keys). If you have just purchased this license key, please contact the BitDefender Customer Care departments by clicking here . Please make sure that you have a proof of purchase available for the BitDefender representative.


    That was a nice "welcome" to get after renewing my license for another 2 years.


    And Mihaela, my frustation is not pointed at you but to the system.
