How can I turn off Bit Defender 2011 Total security for 5, 10, 15 minutes so that I can check to see if it is causing problems with IE8

    IN IS 2011 Go to the dashboard...anti virus in the top left is a box marked Real time protection is enabled...Un-tick this & you have a choice of how long you need to have it unabled.


    I expect it would be something similiar in TS.

    What module you wish to disable ? Please open BitDefender Security Center and switch it to Expert View from the Options button. Then you will see on the left side of the BitDefender window all modules listed. Go to the one you wish to disable (i.e. Real Time Protection, Antiphishing, Firewall etc) and disable it.
