Just Purchased Bitdefender 2011.but It Wont Run

Hello everyone. I recently purchased Bitdefender. When i came home to install on my computer i popped the cd in and nothing will come up. I tried going to my computer & still nothing the program wont show up. Can some one please tell me what to do so i can open the disk manually and install. thanks

    Hi - I just bought Bit Defender Internet Security at a store. Put the disk in my antique "Dell Dimension 2400" DVD drive (Windows XP SP2) and it would not see the disk. The drive sees other disks okay, home-burned and commercial. I put the disk in my equally-antique home made computer (Windows XP SP2) and it works fine. So I set up folders to Share between the two computers over my network, and copied the contents of the Bit Defender DVD from my home made computer over the network to a folder on my Dell's hard drive. I ran the installation from that folder. Bit Defender installed in the Dell and seems to be working fine.

    Whenever the CD is not starting automatically and you are certain that the CD is the culprit (you can check with another CD and see if the Windows Media autorun is working), you have two choices:


    - either download the installation kit from our website (the link below will provide you with the download links for all BitDefender Desktop products);

    - either send a request to replace the broken CD by sending us the Shipping Information and the Order number of the purchase;


    BaldSpot: I noticed you are using Windows XP Service Pack 2. Note that the recommended System requirements are Windows XP Service Pack 3 therefore visit Microsoft Update website and upgrade your Operating System.
