P2p Network Error

I cant connect p2p network for streaming broadcast with a tool PeerCast.

I added PeerCast.exe to Exclusion > Excluded processes, but it still doesn't work.

How can I make it work.

With Bitdefender Antivirus 11, it works.

I did clean install OS and BD12.

Windows7 pro 64bit

Bitdefender Antivirus Plus 12

  • Hello

    Please create exclusion for that software using these instructions:

    http://forum.bitdefender.com/index.php?showtopic=30243

    Also, we recommend you to make sure the Firewall settings are allowing the PC communication with the internet as follows:

    - open Bitdefender, go to Firewall panel and make sure it is turned on

    - click on "Network details" and locate the adapter. It is either Local Area Connection if the device is connected by cable or Wireless Area connection if it is a wireless device

    - for this particular adapter please set

    *Network type to Trusted

    * Stealth mode to Off

    * Generic to Yes

    and click Close.

    Should you need further assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Have a nice day.

  • Thank you for your assistance, but I still need furthur assistance.

    I added exe file to excluded processes, and folder to excluded files and folders, then I rebooted.

    It still doesn't work.

    After reboot, checking exclusion, I found that processes was all cleared.

    I am sure that processes was set before reboot and just immediately after reboot, but not few minuites later.

    Please right click on BitDefender icon from system tray(the "B" icon) and choose "Show". In the main window, click on "Settings". From the advanced interface, click on Privacy Control module and select the Antiphishing tab.

    Please disable all the options from there and reboot your machine.

    Let me know if everything is OK now.

  • Hi Norizo

    Thank you for that file.

    First of all, please accept our apologies for the situation created. Please

    follow the steps below to check if the issue persists.

    1. Open BitDefender -> Settings -> Update -> here check the box next to

    "Prompt me before downloading updates". When an update is performed, you will

    see a box from which I kindly ask you to choose ONLY Signatures Update (do not

    perform product updates, otherwise the solution below will be canceled).

    2. Restart your computer in Safe Mode:

    [How to restart in Safe Mode]

    - Restart the computer (Windows Start button - Turn Off - Restart);

    - Press the "F8" key several times before Microsoft Windows begins to load;

    you need to press "F8" until you will be displayed a text menu;

    - Select "SAFE MODE" in the text menu and press "Enter".

    - Wait while Windows loads in Safe Mode; this process ends with a confirmation

    message; click "OK" to acknowledge.

    3. Go to C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2012, find the file called

    "bdtl.dll" and rename it to "bdtl.dl_".

    4. Restart the computer normally and let me know if the issue persists.

    I am looking forward to hearing from you. Have a nice day.
