Parental Control Not Working

Hello.


I have configured Parental Control, but is not working, not filter any webpage.


Is there anybody who use this function and could confirm that working or not ??? :blink:

    Parental control does not work for me either. It does not block bad websites, logs the same google webpage over and over, etc, etc. The Facebook app does work.


    Also Itunes Store does not load, which is making for unhappy kids.

    Same here, Parental Control does not work... I've installed the modules on my cell phone, "repaired" the BD TS 2013 installation on my laptop 3 times now, and uninstalled/re-installed it on my phone. I've linked the module on my phone to my account, and nothing... Not a single piece of the parental control works on anything..

    I had the same issues. It will block only a few sites on my computers but not on my mobile devices. I put mobiflock on my mobile devices and it works. I will be putting net nanny on my computers. BitDefender is a great antivirus but is not ready for my needs in parental control yet.

    Thank you for your feedback!


    I need some examples to further investigate this issue. Make some screenshots from the Parental Control zone from My Bitdefender so I can reproduce the scenario.


    Also, I need the websites that should be blocked and are not.


    We are aware of the issue with iTunes, it will be fixed soon and also I will post a workaround on the forums.

    Now working fine...


    If the problem will reappear, i will post here again. :rolleyes:


    Just a suggestion: this module shouldn't be more good if it will scanning pages for inadecvate content, not only searching a page to a predefined list ? In this way, i found many XXX pages wich are not blocked, and for blocking, must be added to blacklist...

    I´ve marked and unmarked the categoriies list but it didn´t block any undesirable web site.


    Not working for the two computers I¨ve already installed.

  • I am having the exact same issue. It seems to ignore the web filtering and never generates any log activity. I have tried different user accounts and computers.

  • Same problem happen to me...working fine some time, and now, not working in the last 2-3 days.


    I see now that not only me have this problem...What could happen with web filter ?

    It is the same for me, those nice little blue circles spin forever, I hope Christian will look into it soon.
