File Vault Won't Open
I upgraded my Bitdefender to the newer version now I cannot open the file vault. I put my password in and then click open but nothing happens, except for a quick flash of the screen saying please wait while the specified vault is being processed.
Is it possible that the file was corrupted in the update?
Are there any solution suggestions?

....Update
I went now through the user panel of the 2013 Bitdefender browsed and selected the file vault and attempted to open from there and now am getting an error that the password is incorrect. This cannot be true because I have not changed the password and it is coming from my password vault as always. I believe the update has corrupted the vault file.0 -

AFAIK there is no change in vault structure between versions, so it should be something else.
There was an issue - fixed now, update already released - when creating a file vault (format appearing to not ending).
I don't think update changes vault files, at most driver files.
Can you please give me some more details regarding this issue? Vault size, where is created (meaning what type of disk partition the bvd file resides to), operating system version ... anything you can think of.

This is definitely an issue. I have just done exactly the same thing. The BitDefender version I was using was installed less than two weeks ago.
I have a 64bit Windows 7 machine. It's possible I originally created the vault with a 32bit machine. The vault itself is tiny: 250KB. Vault was created on the same partition it now resides - a drive that is never formatted between fresh Windows installations. Hope this helps.
BTW: Rolling back from 2013 to 2012 allowed me to open the vault. I have copied the files out; will reinstall 2013 and create a new vault.0
