Lost Serial Keys

Hello,

I have bought two serial keys for Bitdefender Internet Security, but I lost all data after HDD crash.

When i log in into my.bitdefender (the same as my forum email) account I see my old computers and licences but i cannot see serial keys for another installation of software.

What should I do now?

David

    Hello dasetro,

I suggest you contact Bitdefender via email and let them help you recover your keys. They will obviously not give out details on the open forum. :)

I keep that kind of info stored away from my computer, cloud/external HD, as I suffered from a similar thing a few years back.

I'm even more old school. print out and store in filing cabinet (along with a note of which machines installed on) as well as on mybitdefender.

Also, if you haven't already done so you can install the program in trial mode so that you are protected until such time you obtain your key again

  • Ok. Thank'Ya.

    Hello David,

    Welcome to the Bitdefender forums.

I have checked your Bitdefender account and found your two license keys, both valid for Bitdefender Internet Security. One of the keys is valid for activating Bitdefender on 1 PC, while the second one is valid for 3 different PC-s. However, I notice my colleagues already e-mailed you all the details 5 days ago via ticket ID 2014043011320001.

Since the case is resolved, I am closing this topic.
