Can't Connect To Internet After Bd2015 Install

Hi,


So I just updated my BD14 to BD15 and I can't seem to connect to the internet anymore with my computer. Tested wireless and with ethernet cable.


Internet on my other devices is just fine (phone, tablet, etc)


Any tips?

    Hiya,


    Mine is fine on Win 8.1. However, first thing to do is run a repair on BD.


    Control Panel>Programs and Features>Bitdefender>Uninstall. Choose "Repair", let it finish and then reboot your computer.

    Hi,


    I just tried to repair it as you said, and during the repair I could access the internet (since it temporarely removed BD)


    But after I restarted my pc I still have the same problem as before.


    It seems like BD is somehow blocking the connection?

    Have exactly the same issue. Won't let me connect to the internet via Chrome or IE. Running Windows 8.1 on a Samsung laptop. The good news is that the only site I can access is the forum!


    Have also run repair but still have the same issues.


    Can access sites via Safepay and have tried to set Safepay to ignore all sites.


    Help!

    Hello,


    Did you try these steps?


    1. Open the Bitdefender program > Protection > click on Firewall > make sure the Firewall is turned ON


    2. Go to the Adapters tab > at "Network Type" select "Home/Office" > at "Stealth Mode" select "Off" > at "Generic" select "On"


    Restart the computer and check the connectivity.

    Hi,


    I've have seem to solved it by turning OFF "Block Internet Connection Sharing" under the Firewall menu.


    As soon as I switch it on again I can't connect to the internet anymore.


    Also I have no idea what this option does?
