Real Time File Protection Disabled

I am running antivirus 2015 on Dell PC with Windows 8.1. I keep getting a message which says "real time file protection is disabled". For the last few weeks, I would run a repair and the message would go away -- annoying enough. But this time, that didn't work. I have run the repair twice and finally done a full reinstall but the problem continues to exist. How can I fix this??

Hi. Do you have any security software installed here? I'd check at Add/Remove programs at control panel first if there's any. And also check C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files (x86) for any of those programs. Rule of thum is that you only need to have 1 security software running.
