Uninstalled 2015 - using uninstall tool - installed 2016 - went OK - but will not allow me to activate - clicking on the icon will not open - trying to install this incredible bad app for the last week or so!!, paid $ 89, otherwise will throw the disk out of the window!!...sick!....sick and tired of this messy app!

    Don't install bitdefender 2016 with the cd. Download it from this link (you click download now in green). Should solve the issue

    Thanks Roberto, I installed from CD the first time, no luck, then tried different links to different web sites that allowed downloads, none completed the installation, until the last time using installation kit, which installed OK, but would not allow activation(clinking the icon would not open). What kind of app is this, that has so many problems??.

    Thanks Roberto, in the past days done that (donloded "try" fron bitdefender.con), uninatalled 2015, by means of uninstall tool, tried to install "try" by clicking on the donwloaded file, and the screen just blinks once, and then.....NOTHING!...nada...silch...kaput,.....funny, because installing 2015 went nicelly.....hmmmm....begining to think that something in windows 10 was changed....at this point reinstalled 2015 and will live it at that!.....maybe bitdefender will come to their sences and provide a fix.....in the last week, contacted support via email three times!....so far no response....they are crazy!...Cheers!

    Will wait a couple of days, then will forsake my $ 89+ tx(went down the toilet), and go back to ESET.
