Bitdefender Total Security 2016 Never Get Activated

Hey 357 subscription days were added into central.bitdefender account but in bitdefender total security it still shows your subscription has been expired when i open bitdefender. HELP ME SOMEONE

    Have u logged into the same BD central account from your Product Interface?


    If that didnt work click on " I have an activation code" and then log into ur BD central account and try inserting it again

    PRODUCT IS NOT OPENING THATS THE PROBLEM ,IN CENTRAL INTERFACE MY PRODUCT IS ADDED WITH 1 YEAR SUBSCRIPTION DAYS

    If none of the above resolutions work for you then I suggest uninstalling BDTS 2016 from Control Panel ---> Programs & Features ---> right click on Bitdefender 2016 ---> uninstall ---> restart ---> go to Programs & Features again ---> uninstall BD Agent


    Then run the Uninstall Tool and restart your system again


    Now Login to your Bitdefender Central account where you activated your 357 days subscription and make sure your device is not listed as installed....Now click on "Install Bitdefender" ---> Choose your OS platform (assuming Windows) --> On this device ---> click Download....


    It will download a 6MB online installer which is already linked to your Central account ....Just install from it and your product will be preactivated :)

    No it won't. Simply put, none of this is where the failure is, it is when the Client tries to login to central and activate the software from the desktop, it fails over and over, reporting errors such as you are not connected to the internet.


    Even with the firewall turned off (software and with the hardwired router), albeit Bitdefenders own firewall is inactive until the product is activated, and round and round that goes.


    This isn't a minor bug, this is a whopper, a show stopper for many users. What's more they have known about it for weeks!!

    Same here!!...round and round it goes for the last week!...sick and tired of following the right steps as suggested, to no avail!.....keeping installing, then uninstalling(using the uninstall tool)....really..... all this crap is getting on my nerves!....why...why they released this @#$$% thing to the public?, when we cannot use it?...how good an app can be if we cannot even install it properly?....????????

    SAME . I was very excited to try BD 2016, i tried total security that did not work i tried internet security that did not too . I tried every possible way to activate it but it did not. Even icon was greyed out it never launches.


    Great thing is in support page when we will form for email help ticket column of operating system does not even list windows 10,and BD says its fully windows 10 compatible . Three claps :P

    is a BIG PROBLEM shared by many it seems. Windows 10 free upgrade won't activate. Cant get 2015 activation code updated as promised, followed instructions on Bit Central. No longer offered the option now on Bit Central. Also says my subscription has expired which it DEFINITELY HASN'T. Have fully uninstalled and re-installed with no solution. No response to chat requests or emails to bit Support for several days. Big worry, no protection. Please fix!!!

  • I've bought a 1 year subcription for 3PC - Total security. Registered an account at Central and activated the code. In my subcriptions I can see that I have 364 days left and can add up to 3 PCs. I've downloaded and installed the Total Security by clicking the "+" in "My Subcriptions". The problem is that after installation the Bitdefender can't log in to my Central account and therefor can't activate. I have tried re-installing a few time, resetting password + I've already logged a few tickets at help desk + have spent an hour on the phone and still haven't gotted a single reply. Hopefully it can get some attention here :-). So far my experience with BitDefender is extremelly bad and tech support seems to be a major part of it

    Better try kaspersky internet security 2016 it runs butter smooth. And the main thing it will not slow down your machine :P


    That is what I have installed now. Uninstalled Bitdefender, wouldn't work anyhow, just taking up valuable SSD space, and moreso, my time, uninstalling/reinstalling, flushing DNS, rebooting router over and over, changing passwords, submitting yet ANOTHER ticket. Days of frustration and anguish and for nothing. It even seems like Bitdefender are so desperate, I don't get responses to my claims for a refund. Going to let my solicitor and bank pries the money from their tightly clenched fists. :ph34r:
