If I Buy Multiple Copies Of Bd, Will It Just Add Another Year, Or ..

I was wondering, .. I have 1 computer. And if I buy multiple(2 or 3) 1-Year copies of BD IS 2016, will it just add another year(s) onto my account of using it? Or will they then start running side by side at the same time, and run out in 1 year?


Or, should I just keep each key saved until one year runs out, and then enter the new key(s)?? And the next year, enter my 3rd key?

    I have the family Pack 2016 with 256 days left (License key - *******)


    It is used with three accounts - ernst@*****.**, didde@*****.** and mikkelekm@*****.**


    I have been offered a good deal on a one year license for the family Pack 2016.


    If I purchase this, will the 365 days be added to my existing 256 days giving a total of 621 days?


    Will I have to update the license on each of the three accounts, and where do I put the new licensekey to add days to the remaining without any problems?

  • I' ve bought two sets of licenses for 3PC's. Instead of getting possible to install BD IS 2016 ob 6 PC's the licenses were merged into the two year period. :wacko:


    The only explanation from support was "You must have separate accounts for every set of licenses" Ridiculous isn't it? How the normal user can get such idea? What the mess they did with this BD Central. <img class=" /> Until BD 2015 it was so easy an logical to add licenses but from now on? OMG.

    Kindly be informed that, after searching in our system, we realized you have the 2015 version of Family Pack on three Central accounts:****@****.dk, ****@****.dk and ******@******.com


    Normally, you can have more than one Central account, but you shouldn't be able to use the same subscription, in your case, the subscription of the Family Pack on all of your Central accounts.


    Thus, we will have to correct this by leaving your Family Pack subscription on a single Central account. Please let us know on which of your three Central accounts you want to keep the Family Pack subscription.


    Regarding your other question, if you purchase the 2016 version of the Family Pack now and activate it in your Central account, the merge between the validity of your two products will be done automatically.


    These are the steps you will need to follow in order to activate in Central the subscription of the new version of the Family Pack you plan to purchase:


    1. Please log in into your Central account using the link below:

    Well that is not exactly what you told me 13/07-2015 in support ticket 2015071114350001.


    What I then asked was, that I have bought (Receipt attached) a Sphere version, but I can see that it installs the family pack 2015.

    you clearly states that it can be used on up to 5 accounts on as many devices as they want.

    Bitdefender Family Pack can be used by 3 or 5 family members (i.e. accounts). This means that up to 5 family members can create MyBitdefender accounts and use one of the products in the pack (or all of them) on as many devices as they want.


    I bought the product Sphere, you can change the name if you want, but changing the accounts limit backwards after you tell me that it is only a denomination issue and presents the very same features!!!!!!


    Note that I hope for another solution, but If you are not able to provide an alternative, the account to use for the Family Pack subscription is *******@*****.dk


    Please advice me prior to with the date for any change you might perform to my account/Central.


    One major reason for me to choose your product was exactly the possibility to let my kids manage their own accounts.


    The outcome of this ticket, the time to get response on a ticket and reading in the forum and many other places of your extremely slow support could lead me to look for another provider of security.

    Totally understand your pain. I'm having the same issue with bitdefender too <img class=" /> . I don't get why in the world they would think that a license key is too difficult for user to use. Great job Bitdefender! Look at how many people you've offended so far, hopefully you'll get the message and change it back to the old license key. Get rid of myBidfender central, it is not easier to manage for lord's sake.


    Ok, I'm done with my rant. Have you heard any update from them?
