Temporary Disable Of Bitdefender For Installations

Where can I disable Bitdefender when some installations require disabling my anti-virus/firewall software? I cannot find it anywhere within the program or when right clicking on the icon. I have Bitdefender Total Security 2016.

    There is no way to turn off the whole thing, all you can do is turn off the various modules (down arrow from the BD GUI).

    @whb2016 To temporarily turn off the Bitdefender anti-malware protection bring up Bitdefender 2016, then press on Modules in the lower left of the window. Under the Protection tab press on Antivirus here disable On-Access Scanning and Active Threat Control.
