Exclude Optical Drive From Being Scanned.

How can I exclude DVDs from being scanned every time I insert a disk?

I do not need production DVDs such as the entire set of Stargate to be scanned. Every time I insert a disk it starts scanning it and it sounds horrible and I fear this action is going to ware out my drive. We watch a different episode with dinner and the disks do not need to be scanned.

There needs to be a way to exclude known disks from being scanned.

    Open the Bitdefender GUI

    Open the modules from the down arrow bottom left.

    Protection>Antivirus>click the gear icon.

    Exclusions tab.

    From the "ScanCD/DVD" line choose either "Disabled" or "Ask every time"
