New Device Added

Recently I've started receiving notifications that Bitdefender has detected a new device and will scan it in the background. I have not added any devices to my laptop and it seems to be working as it should. What is causing this message? Thanks.

    I am getting this message everytime I boot up my machine....Any answers?

    Mine will do that if I have a CD in the CD drive when I boot.  Would probably also do that if a flash drive is inserted.
