May I ask for the specification of your operating system through dxdiag? and May I know where did you get the installer? Is that online? or from a CD? First of all try to check if there is antivirus that has been installed on your computer (also bitdefender) and much better if you manage to use system restore first before installing the file, might be their is a possibility is infected by a virus or got a glitch through a system update through windows 10. default_happy.png

  • I have the same problem. What have you done? I had installed also the Home Scanner. Last evening I uninstalled it and from that moment the message didn,t appeared anymore until now. I don.t know if it is a final solution. Now I have only the Virus Scanner on my laptop.

  • Oh my this is a quite a while. Are you still getting the same issue? What have you done so far? It is a very rare issue I think. For instance I got the same experience that you have using but it is not a bitdefender software.

Try to give it a shot like fully uninstall the device itself.  https://www.bitdefender.com/support/how-to-uninstall-bitdefender-2016-1512.html and do an sfc/scannow .

I hope it has been resolve. default_happy.png
