Unable to connect to server


After updating windows 10 i downloaded and installed Bitdefender


Total Security 2018. Upon attempting to activate i received a


cannot connect to server message.

    I have the Unable to connect to server error


    I did a ping nimbus.bitdefender.net , latency 27 ms


    Did a ping bd.bdnc.net


     


    Ping request could not find host bd.bdnc.net


    nimbus.bitdefender.net gives bad request.


     


    Using Windows 7 64-bit


     


    Two months ago I had a PClock infection, installed "K" afterwards, but I uninstalled and cleaned registry. Maybe this has to do something with my Bitdefender issues.


    Any help?

    Please disable any VPN/Proxy services you may be running.


    Ensure that there are no other security solutions on the machine.


    If the above steps yield no results please place the attached file in the folders below :


    C:\Program Files\Bitdefender Agent

    C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Security

    C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Device Management


    Alternatively you can add the Google DNS to your network adapter.
