Thank you for your understanding.

What Ip addresses do I need for my home network?

I've followed the instructions to let other devices on my home network through the firewall, but failed at the last post where it asks for an IP address.

Thanks

Doug

  • Assuming that you want to allow a particular port, rather than an application into your PC, I would set it up like this. The example I am using is allowing TCP port 80 through in an inbound direction only:-

The custom local IP address will be the IP address of your PC:-

  • Hi,

If you are trying to allow an external device such as a network printer, you would need to add the IP of the printer under custom remote address.

Should you still have issues, please send us an email at bitsy@bitdefender.com with more details on what you are trying to do precisely.
