Mtalk.google.com
For some time now, I am getting dozens of notifications indication "suspicious connection blocked" by mtalk.google.com With the latest build 24.0.14.80 and engine version 7.83193, the notification popup is driving me crazy. Bit Defender indications that I am safe but these popups are very annoying. I do not know the ip or port attempts to firewall block these attempts. What can be done?

The notification is caused by the fact that mtalk.google.com is a service discontinued by Google. The aforementioned domain no longer has a valid security certificate, hence why Bitdefender notifies you about the suspicious connection.
In this case you can uninstall Google Talks in case it is installed on your computer. Should the notification persist afterwards, you can add an exception for mtalks.google.com by following the steps below:
• Open Bitdefender, click Protection.
• Click Exceptions below Online Threat Prevention and add an exclusion for mtalk.google.com0 -
