Hi Member,
1) Open bitdefender dashboard.
2) Go to settings (on left side bottom)
3) Click on Update option on right upper side.
4) Change update check interval

There is no update control option in free version. It automatically updates after every 1 hour. One cannot control update interval in free version.

Sorry for digging back the old thread but I have a similar issue with the setting. I am using a paid/licensed BIS and I change the option to "auto update every one hour" (cuz I am an aware person) to keep safety on surfing internet. But after I restart my PC and it changes back to where it was (auto 12 hours...). How could it happen and to fix it?
