Europol: “The Hidden Internet Is No Longer Hidden..."
Europol this week has announced the arrest of 179 vendors of illicit goods on the dark web, in a coordinated operation known as DisrupTor.
According to the press release, operation DisrupTor follows the takedown of Wall Street Market, the world’s then second largest illegal online market in the dark web, which provided investigators with the data and materials required to identify suspects behind dark web accounts used for illegal activity.

Europol also issues a cautionary note to individuals tempted by the offers on the dark web:
“Law enforcement can also trace back illicit transactions to both the buyer and seller. An individual who purchased illicit goods from hidden sites is at risk of prosecution in a number of countries. The dark web is not a fairy tale – vendors and buyers are no longer hidden in the shadow,” the agency warns.

Nothing can remain hidden. Today or tomorrow, everything gets caught. Hackers may use VPN/ Proxy servers but they still are caught. People over a period thought that TOR browser was a well defined browser as to not get tracked due to different relays, but they do get caught when doing illegal activities. At last TOR does uses firefox engine.
We have great examples of hackers getting caught on dark web. Additionally many website trading illegal goods on dark web getting seized like the famous dark web website silk road & the alphabay.
At the end it comes down to one thing. Everything you do on internet is being watched, sooner or later you will be caught if you do any illegal stuffs.

The website owners need to use different secure certficates. As you know there are quite a few digital certificates, each of which serves its own purpose. The most common type of certificate is naturally SSL certificates, which also have several subspecies. There are also Code Signing certificates, Website Anti Malware Scanner certificates, and Unified Communications certificates. I use www.ssls.com for searching and buying ssl cert for my website.

By Darren Chaker - Of the tens of thousands of illegal transactions which occur on the Dark Web, 179 arrests a fraction of the people who do a transaction on the Dark Web in a few seconds on any given day. Ultimately, most people are caught by stupidity, like the founder of the Silk Road, others are caught by chance. In any event TOR remains pretty secure if one is contrasting the amount of arrests claiming to "disrupt" TOR compared to the amount of people on it. But maybe I am wrong...
