how long does a scan take ?

hi

i just downloaded bitdefender free version ... i'm on windows 10 ... how long does a scan take ? it has been running now for 30 minutes and it only shows 7% complete ... it has been stuck on 7% for some time now ...

  I'm up to 14 hours now for a Full System Scan, getting very frustrated.
