Bitdefender OS Network Helper Process uploading something and slows down system
Hi,
I'm using Bitdefender Internet Security and notice something. A process called Bitdefender OS Network Helper Process (bdntwrk.exe) is uploading someting using port 53. I don't know what it is doing, but it use a lot of data to upload. Not only that, it slows down the system A LOT and make it barely usable.
Currently, my workaround is to block connection from it and it works.
So, please tell me what this process is, what it is doing, and if this is an error, please fix this.
Thank you

I noticed the same, it will occasionally redline the Win10 Power Usage alert and internet connection times out when that process runs. This is a bug that needs stepped on.

Same here, when that process kicks on the network access gets killed dropping all active connections.

hntwhlpr.exe causes the same issue and maxes out CPU and ram process

I noticed the same today on my Mac with a BDLDaemon process: upload of almost 50 MB in 10 minutes.
I have anonymous data collection disabled, so I'm not sure what that is.
