XMRig - Monero mining software and quarantine despite exceptions

I'm having a hard time mining a cryptocurrency while using BitDefender. It seems developer wants to be smarter than user so much, that program has become non-intuitive.
I added all exceptions for my miner - XMRig. For all executable files and a whole folder all protection features are turned off (antivirus: on-demand scan, on-access scan, embedded scripts; online threat prevention, advanced prevention). Despite my actions, Bitdefender keeps putting XMRig.exe into quarantine while running. Typically, a few minutes after program starts.
How can I solve it?

I'm having exactly the same issue. I finally just disabled BitDefender as it is preventing me from performing the tasks I need to perform on my computer. I'd love to be able to setup an exception list with the Cudominder / XMRig included, but can't for the life of me figure out how to do it.

First of all, it is not only bitdefender detecting the software as malicious, but around 40 other av vendors detect the said software as malicious. Below is the virustotal link.
Now, coming to exception not working, kindly drop an email to bitdefender support at bitsy@bitdefender.com regarding your query & ask them to share the same with development team.
Since support on forum is limited and there is no guarantee of satisfactory replies, so in future kindly consider contacting support team directly through email (the support team will reply back in maximum of 72 hours excluding saturday & sunday, but may reply on the same day also).

Bitdefender's Knowledge Team will then analyze your sample. If the sample you provide turns out to be safe, then the knowledge team will whitelist it.
