Scan with BitDefender in Safe Mode?

I'm getting Trojan warnings from a client's website (infection stopped by BitDefender). The web guru for the site assures me that it's fine. His own anti-virus software shows no issue with the site. He suggested it may be a problem on my computer and said I should run BD in safe mode. If it fails, he said that may indicate that I have a virus. I've tried to run BD in safe mode, and it fails every time. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    hello @ccwins

Antivirus installed on the system does not work in safe mode. Most likely, you are asked to check your system with an antivirus scanner. Which does not need installation into the system. I suggest checking the client's website with this resource -> https://www.virustotal.com/gui/home/url

In the "Search or Scan a URL" field, insert the site address and press "Enter".

When the site being checked is completely clean, this is indicated by a green checkmark with the text "clean". If this is not the case, security is questionable and additional checks need to be made.
