Bitdefender running on Windows 10 is causing Boxcryptor to Crash.
Bitdefender reportedly has a bug that is causing Boxcryptor to crash. As a daily user of Boxcryptor for 5+ years with never a single crash. Now that I have installed Bitdefender over 4-weeks ago I receive multiple Boxcryptor crash per day. When is bitdefender going to FIX this problem...!!??
Please if others are experiencing this issue, please report it..!!

I experienced the same issue and had to uninstall Bitdefender on my computer.

Hello guys,
I got in touch with our engineers and they confirmed we received a few reports that Bitdefender causes Boxcryptor to crash and display an error.
The issue was caused by an incompatibility. We added a quick fix that will be available in the market with the following signature update and this should be resolved by now.
@drewInBOS & @allanm could you please retry and let us know the results?

This same problem plagues Gravityzone.Bitdefender.com products.
Verdict still out on whether fixed.

Thank you for sharing this thread with us.
The issue was caused by an incompatibility and a fix was already deployed with a signature update on February 11th. I have noticed this information was also posted in the Boxcryptor thread.
Does anyone still encounter issues with this?
