Most cost effective to get more licenses beyond the 15 provided by the Family Pack?
If one bought the Family pack and needs more device licenses for Antivirus for Mac, beyond the 15 included, would purchasing one or more packs of 3 licenses be cumulative to the existing 15 licenses, so that one gets a total of 18 licenses, 21 licenses, and so forth with each 3 pack purchase, or is there a more cost effective way?

A single Central account supports the activation and usage in parallel of multiple subscriptions valid for the same Bitdefender product (e.g. Bitdefender Total Security for 5 devices and Bitdefender Total Security for 10 devices), or even different subscriptions, with the scope to protect more devices. If, for example, you are using a Family Pack subscription for up to 15 devices and you require additional protection for MacOS devices, you may purchase an additional Antivirus for Mac subscription for 1 or up to 3 devices, depending on your requirements and activate it in parallel in the Central account. As the subscriptions have a different configuration and variation of devices, they cannot be cumulated, but with multiple subscriptions in the account you will increase the number of slots available for protection.
To be more specific, in the above scenario there will be two subscriptions displayed in Central, Family Pack with 15 slots and Antivirus for Mac with 1 or 3 slots, depending on the chosen variantion.
Each subscription will have its own renewal cycle and apart from protecting additional devices, you may also allocate devices from one subscription to another, if you choose to do so.
This upgraded subscription type provides the user with more flexibility in choosing the activation type most suitable for his needs.
In regards to pricing, it depends on whether you plan to extend the device infrastructure in the future and require protection for other operating systems as well. Because in this scenario, a second Total Security or Family Pack subscription would be more suitable. If you only require additional protection for a Mac or two, the most cost effective solution would be the Antivirus for Mac, which is currently on sale on the official website:
