Disney+ blocked when VPN is enabled.
Anyone else having issues in the UK not being able to access Disney+ when using the VPN on their Windows device? I've even tried adding the disneyplus url to the Split tunnelling option on the VPN. Tried multiple servers, (not tried them all ofc), but it's making no difference. Soon as I turn off the VPN, DisneyPlus is accessible again.
Any ideas/help would be appreciated.

Ok, I have a couple of questions:
How are you are accessing Disney+, do you open it from your browser, app, mobile device, does the page return any error message apart from the blank screen and does the VPN display any notification at all? Do you open the browser and then enable VPN, or did you enable VPN already, before accessing the page?
Were you able to access Disney+ in the past, or is this your first attempt?
Kindly share more information with us, so I can tell the developers where to look.
Thank you.

I tried 3 different Browsers : Opera, Chrome, Safari. Before using the VPN I closed all of them. And then connected my VPN to Canada because Disney Plus in Canada has something I want to watch obviously - then I open safari for example and to be sure clear my cache aswell - then I try to connect to Disney +. Like I already told you in the Dm : I am able to reach the main page but the second I click on login it gets dark again. The browser tries to reload one time automatically and then its just black screen. The VPN does not display any notification at least on my end.:)

I think I know where the problem is. The VPN unlocks the US Disney+ library and you are trying to view content in Canada...

I can't really follow.. what do you mean exactly?

Hi,
Some websites have implemented a system to detect VPNs and do not load or display errors if the Internet connection is filtered through a VPN. They practice geo-blocking as a way of limiting access to their content based on geographical location. Geo-blocking is done by identifying an IP address.
For Disney+ only the US library has been unlocked for use with a VPN connection. It is not guaranteed that the content from Canada will be displayed. But you can try to connect to a few different VPN servers from the list of available locations and see if the page loads afterwards.

Hi - Sorry for jumping in but it seems that the issue is not coming from that but from the VPN directly. I am french but live abroad and I subscribed to Disney + when I was on leave in France. Since I am back in my working country - Jordan - I cannot access any proposed virtual emplacements. Given that this topic has been open for 6 MONTHS NOW, I really start to have some dough as to your capacity to solve issues promptly. 6 MONTHS...

Hello @Balik and thank you for joining us here.
The thing is, if the VPN does not connect to any server at all, then the issue lies somewhere else. Does the VPN connection appear in a loop, once enabled? Do you receive any error messages whatsoever? This is important as there are several known errors that can occur and the respective troubleshooting steps are available below:
Disney+ access is limited by the fact that there is only one library unlocked (to be accessed via a VPN connection). Where are you based now and what country server have you selected?
In the event the root cause cannot be found, I would recommend to contact the Support Teams for a more detailed investigation. You can get in touch with our engineers by choosing one of the contact methods available here:
