Display active TCP connections?
In a competition product's firewall there is a display of all active TCP connections - local and remote IP address, local and remote port, and traffic rate. Is there anything equivalent in BitDefender's firewall.

Hi pokeefe0001, not with the Bitdefender firewall. You may be thinking of COMODO? which is a firewall with an AV that probably includes that option. Bitdefender is an AV, Online protection app which includes a very competent firewall, minus that feature.
To see that information, you would need to download something like CurrPorts, a lightweight, easy-to-use and run software, which may be found here: http://www.nirsoft.net/
Kind regards,
Scott

I'm not sure why I should contact BitDefender's customer support about this. I was just asking if the function exists.
No, I was thinking of the firewall that is part of Kaspersky's protection suites. I just terminated 10 years of use of Kaspersky Internet Security and switched to BitDefender. I was hoping that BitDefender contained something similar. At the moment I'm using TCPView which is part of Microsoft's Sysinternals utilities. I'll take a look at the Nirsoft product because TCPView doesn't give traffic counts.
Thanks for the tip.

Hello.
A simple answer to your question: No, that function in Bitdefender home products does not exist.

I've only used the Kaspersky AV, so thank you for that follow-up information.
And welcome to Bitdefender and the forum. A couple of tips, right-click the BD system tray icon, About, to find your build number etc. as well as the life preserver (doughnut) at the top of the main BD console, which also includes the link to the manual. All of the manuals may be found here: https://community.bitdefender.com/en/discussion/91225/download-all-users-guides-for-home-products-in-english-language-here

Ah, that "donut" is a life preserver. I wondered what it was for but hadn't clicked on it. I've now tried it an see there's a lot of configuration stuff I didn't find by just poking around in the GUI.
One thing I don't see in the firewall is the ability to block all network traffic to/from the computer. That's a handy feature that's available in the Kaspersky firewall and several of the stand-alone firewall products. Is there an official Bitdefender Wish List?
I looked at the Nirsoft CurrPorts. I like it.

There is no quick and easy way to block all network traffic, but only by using this suggestion from Alexandru:
The "wish list" forum can be found here:
I'm glad you're poking around the app, be sure to post back with any other questions you have. The Seach option at the top of the forum, can also be helpful 😊
