    Does anyone know if Bitdefender scans the USB-drive automatically when connected to the laptop?

    I do not see any activity.. I looked into Settings but do not see any possibility.

      I use Total Security. Open BD, click on Protection, Open AntiVirus, go to Settings. There are options for CD/DVD scanning and USB scanning. Select "AutoScan" for USBs.

      Thank you for your advise..I just started to use Bitdefender Internet Security and have 1x Windows laptop for entertainment-uwe at home.
