iPhone battery drops significantly under Web Protection
I’ve switched on Web Protection. I fully charged the iphone 100%, after 6 hours without using the iphone, the iphone battery dropped a lot and showed that web protection (background activity) used 33% of the battery. Do you know what is the problem? And any method to stop background activity when using home Wi-Fi? Thank you!

I’ve tried to turn off the web protection and the battery become normal.

I noted that the patch version 6.3.1 was launched on 27-Jun which solved the battery problem on iPhone. However, the battery problem seems still existing on iPad.
FYI. I updated the patch on both iphone and iPad at the same time. In next morning, iphone battery showed that bitdefender used 2% on iPhone only whereas iPad used 22%.
Not sure if the version 6.3.1 has been tested successfully on iPad? And any other users still encounter the same battery problem on your iPad?
