Unable to remane my USB pendrive after immunizing it
Hello, everyone ... and thanks in advance for your help!
I immunized my USB pendrive after BitDefender suggested I do this, but this process replaced the name I had assigned with a generic "USB Drive" (and I need to be able to rename my USB drives). There is no going back, although I have tried many ways to rename it again. Is there a solution for this problem? Or, alternatively, a way to remove the immunization from my pendrive?

Hello.
-- STEP 1 --
Repair Bitdefender, by following these steps:
https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/13429/
-- STEP 2 --
If the instructions from Step 1 didn't help, uninstall the Bitdefender program using the Uninstall Tool.
For Bitdefender Paid version click here:
https://www.bitdefender.com/links/uninstall_consumer_paid.html
For Bitdefender Trial version click here:
https://www.bitdefender.com/links/uninstall_consumer_trial.html
It will completely remove the program.
Next, reinstall Bitdefender from your Bitdefender Central account and see if the issue has been resolved, as reinstalling the program usually solves the issues.
-- STEP 3 --
If the instructions from Step 2 didn't help, follow the instructions in this step.
First, take screenshot(s) of the issue
and create a log file on your Windows device using Bitdefender Support Tool, by following these steps:
https://www.bitdefender.com/consumer/support/answer/1733/
Next, contact Bitdefender Consumer Support by e-mail:
with short description of the issue.
After that, you will get an automated reply by the Bitdefender Customer Care Team, with your ticket number.
Now, in reply to that automated reply, you can send the screenshot(s) you already took and the log file you already created in the first step.
Since you are all done, just wait for the support engineers to investigate your issue and find a solution to fix the issue.
Remember that the screenshot(s) and the log file will help a lot to the support engineers for better and faster investigation on your issue and finding a solution.
Regards.

Thanks for your reply, Gjoksi!
I tried the first two steps but nothing has changed. I noticed that starting Windows 10 in Safe Mode the label is displayed correctly. Really there be no way to restore it?

Hello again.
Since instructions from the first two steps didn't help and since the Bitdefender engineers might need to taka a deeper look at the issue, as more information is needed, my advice to you is to contact Bitdefender Consumer Support (Step 3).
Kind regards.

Kindly check if the steps in below stated link help you to rename your USB. Attach your USB to a different PC first which does not has bitdefender installed.

Thanks for your reply, mrmirakhur!
I already knew the web page you linked: just yesterday I tried all 5 suggestions (including the Powershell commands) but I didn't get any results.
Furthermore, inserting the pendrive in another computer it continues to be visualized as "USB Drive" and not with the correct label.

Unfortunately, for reasons that I am not here to explain, the only thing I cannot do with this pendrive is to format it (otherwise it would have been the first solution I would have tried).
At this point I give up! In the meantime I have disabled automatic immunization, so the other pendrives that I'll use will not "suffer the same fate".
Anyway, thanks to both of you for the kind support!
