is VPN able to connect to India?

Hi,
i am living between India and France and bought VPN specifically to be able to access geoblocked web sites. But now I am in France and the VPN does not allow me to connect to India. I know there are new regulations in place concerning VPN, but it seems Bitdefender does not cover India any more? Can somebody enlighten me on this? Thank you!

Due to new regulations by Indian government, Bitdefender has dropped India from VPN list
