"Threat requires removal" Notification. What Should I Do?

When in Notifications it is said that "Threat requires removal" does that mean the software has removed it or does it mean I have to take some manual action to remove it?

    The "Threat requires removal" notification means that you must manually remove the infected file(s) from your computer, by following these staps:
