nimbus.bitdefender.net
Hi
in the (Proxy) logs on many stations in the office (all country) I see communication to nimbus.bitdefender.net port 443. UserAgent is BDNC v2.4. What is this? Why is this happening? We use different AV, never used BD. Where does this communication come from? Analize station (Triage) can't give me answer, please help.

Hello @Stefan Stefanski,
What AV do you have? Maybe you are using an antivirus that uses our engines, because the Bitdefender technology is also licensed to other security vendors.

Symantec Endpoint Protection? (Norton) Maybe some of the stations used Bitdefender in the past? It's difficult to say without looking at the devices.
Maybe our engineers can help, you can reach them using one of the contact channels available at the link below:

We've never used a BitDefender before. Stations are installed from the image. The starting point here is useragent and a link to nimbus.bitdefener.net
question what use such useragent BDNC v2.4...
and what products they communicate to:

i wrote a mail to bitsy@bitdefender.com like flex said.
