Bitdefender not scanning removal media
When I plugin either a USB stick or insert a CD Bitdefender is not scanning it. It used to, but no longer does. I have checked the settings and they are on Autoscan. Furthermore, if I go to the mounted item in file explorer, right click and chose Scan with Bitdefender, nothing happens. Actually, doing this with any folder on any drive, again nothing happens. My scheduled daily and monthly scans do still occur.
This is very worrying! What can I do??

While uninstalling & reinstalling the product can resolve this issue, but if it doesn't, kindly generate below logs and send to bitdefender support.

Share the logs & your query with bitdefender support team by dropping them an email at bitsy@bitdefender.com
If the generated logs are larger in size, you can upload the logs to google drive or we.tl (7days link validity for free users) or ask the support team to provide you with the online link & password of bitdefender cloud where you can upload the logs and share the upload link with the support team.
The support team will reply back to your query within next 24-48 hours excluding weekends.

Weirdly this is all working as it should now. I did nothing to make this work (except to do my normal overnight shutdown and start up again this morning! If it reoccurs I will do then do the reinstall. The problem was there for at least a couple of weeks. But no longer?

As this issue reoccurred again, I did the uninstall followed by reinstall. This fixed it again, but a week or so later it reoccurred!! I have now sent the logs to the support team.
