This would stop the notifications but has nothing to do with the actual problem, this is a bitdefender problem, a problem with Microsoft, I've noticed that this happens only with machines were I use Bitdefender, no problems with the ones using any other antivirus.
OP your machine is not infected like someone told me in another post, called it adware but it is nonsense, is just bitdefender and ms having problems atm.

Hello all.
I opened Microsoft Edge on my laptop and in the same moment i got the same pop-up notification like all of you.
So, it seems that there's a conflit between Bitdefender and Edge.
While the Edge browser was opened, i got 3 (three) notifications. I closed the browser and the pop-un notifications stoped.
I'll contact Support and i'll share with you the news i get from Support.
Regards.

Hello.
OS Windows 10 Pro 22H2 x64 With Latest Windows Updates Installed; Installed On 18.01.2023; OS Build 19045.3636; Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.19053.1000.0; BD Total Security 27.0.23.112; Mozilla Firefox 119.0.1 x64; Microsoft Edge 119.0.2151.58 x64
It happens ONLY with Microsoft Edge, but NOT on Mozilla Firefox.
The same moment i start/open Microsoft Edge with start page Google, the pop-up notification in the lower right corner appears.
Obviously, the website's certificate has expired, that is problem with the website and Bitdefender is detecting that problem.
But, there is a solution, checked by myself and it worked for me:
1. Click Protection on the navigation menu on the Bitdefender interface.
2. In the Online Threat Prevention pane, click on Settings.
3. Click on Manage exceptions.
4. Click on + Add an Exception.
5. Type in the corresponding field this text: https://bzib.nelreports.net/api/report?cat=bingbusiness
6. Enable the switch next to Online Threat Prevention.
7. Click Save to save the changes and close the window.
And say good-bye to the annoning pop-ups. :)
@Alexandru_BD @Mike_BD @camarie Guys, anything to add here?
Regards.

This is a workaround and not a real solution, it only happens with Edge , firefox and google chrome work fine.
I have about 10 websites that do weird things with Bitdefender , to put all these in exclusion list is a lot of work.
Why is Google chrome not affected with these certificates ? is also chromium based like edge .... just my 2 cents ;)

Actually, it is a real solution. ;) At least for now. :)
Check the website: https://bzib.nelreports.net/api/report?cat=bingbusiness
Maybe the words "bing business" mean something to you.
I believe the problem is that Bing search is default search engine on Microsoft Edge and can't be removed, and the website has something to do with the Bing search.
In my case, Mozilla Firefox's default search engine is Google, and not Bing, as i already removed Bing from the Mozilla Firefox's search engine list. Maybe that explains why the issue happens only on Edge.
P.S.1 Adding 10 websites as excluions won't take you more than 5 minutes, so it's not that difficult.
P.S.2 I also tagged Alex, Mike and camarie for their thoughts on the issue.
Regards.

In my edge browser is google my default search engine. maybe by removing bing search engine in that list (if not in use by someone)

Maybe you don't have latest build of edge ? i was able to delete bing, there were 3 options, but no luck , popups still come... even here on the community.
For now ill wait to do more, time to get some sleep :)

Edge and Bing cause more problems than they worth. Can hardly wait to see Microsoft bring dos back.
