Is there a setting that is keeping my VPN from starting up after sleep on MacBookPro and iPhone?

Sometimes, after my MacBookPro and/or iPhone have been asleep, when I bring them back awake the VPN is not connected. I have Auto Connect on on both. MacBookPro is at Sonoma 14.3.1, iPhone is at iOS 17.3.1.

    Hello @BillInWilmington,

    So, you have the option to launch VPN automatically at startup on your mac and this doesn't work? Try switching the toggle on/off a few times and maybe reinstall the VPN app on your mac and then check if the VPN launches at startup afterwards. If the issue persists, get in touch with the Support teams for a more in-depth investigation using this link.

    As far as I know, on iPhone the auto-connect option is available only for unsecured Wi-Fi networks:
