Can’t access Channel 4 iplayer

When accessing Channel 4 app on my iPad when using Bitdefender VPN, I am getting a notification “This programme is not available in your location”, even if I access it with the VPN in the UK location. This issue is resolved switching off the VPN.

I am using iPad Pro MTXQ2B/A, Version 17.4.1.
