    Hello @Train,

    In addition to the thread link provided by @Flexx, the short answer is no, it's not necessary to uninstall Total Security if you wish to upgrade your security solution to the Premium suite. This happens because the configuration and validity of the product will change according to the subscription / license active in Central.
    So, if you were to redeem an activation code for Premium Security, after entering this code all you have to do is to move the devices from the Total Security subscription / license to Premium Security (in the event Total Security still has some validity left) and this change will be reflected on the Bitdefender solution installed on those devices.
    If you wish to upgrade an existing Total Security subscription / license to Premium Security for the remaining duration, then this request has to go through Bitdefender Support.
