Internet connection errors - windows 11 since august
Since the updates in august, I have structural issues to connect the internet with my laptop. The issues variate from permanent connection error to a delay of a few minutes. It also occurs in different networks (home, work)
It happens by different browsers ( Edge, Chrome, Firefox). Reinstall of the browsers didn't solved the problem. Uninstall Bitdefender solved it. I hoped that a reinstall should solved it, but it didn't.
So … now, to get access to the internet, I unstalled BitDefender. I have access but at a higher risk.
Does somebody know a sollution?

Hello @ewiltens,
Do you have Adguard or any similar application that filters traffic or blocks ads?

Hi Alexandru,
I use uBlock Origin. I try it again after I deleted uBlock0 -
I have had the same problem 3 times over the past 2 weeks. Could not connect to internet at all. Ethernet, WiFi or mobile broadband. I have had Bit Defender for 5 years now. First time any issues.
To fix it I have had to uninstall Bit Defender Total Security thru add remove programs. After you select uninstall Bit Defender Total Security there is Bit Defender option screen that opens up. Options are Remove or Reinstall. The connectivity issue goes away after the reinstall is finished. I had to do this again (just) this morning. Searched to see if anyone else is having this problem and landed here. Figured I would add my 2 cents………………………..
If it continues I will find another Security program.

After uninstalling uBlock and installing BitDefender the issue wasn't solved.
I made further investigations and discovered that Kamo, anti tracker and ad blocker, was installed on my pc as part of ccleaner.
Uninstalling Kamo seems to solved the issue.
Most likely the problem occurs when an ad blocker and/or anti tracker program is installed on the pc

I use the privacy blocker Ghostery, the ad blocker uBlock Origin, and the anti-tracker Bitdefender Anti-tracker in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge Chromium, and Mozilla Firefox, and I’ve never faced this kind of issue.
Additionally, you don’t need Kamo. It’s not well-known, despite being developed by Piriform. It’s not free, and there are multiple better options available for free.

First and foremost I would like to thank you for sharing all the comprehensive details. More than often we get just questions and no descriptions whatsoever as to what exactly is happening and under which circumstances, so I appreciate you took the time to write these down.
Secondly, I showed this to one of our engineers and they are kindly asking you to contact the Support teams and raise a ticket, if possible, because they would like to investigate this behavior and the possible causes in more detail, thus they will probably require some logs coming from the affected devices. Here's the link to get in touch with the Support teams:
State your contact reason / choose request category, then choose from the available contact channels, chat, phone and email/ticket. Chat would be the fastest way to reach them.Let us know how it goes.
If possible, please share the outcome and your findings with the community, so we can close the loop on this and hopefully help other users in the future.
Thank you!
