i downloaded this novel from a adobe website :

u may type it to check urls cuz your forum is blocking me to paste links here, Plz ve a deep look on all of my conversations , words explain the personality, so lift such restriction of pasting links at least for me.

as u can see there is no other software listed in the pc or on website :

How, then, did this concealed software manifest itself on my desktop and subsequently open?

when i uninstalled adobe and that software , urdu novel icon changed into WhatsApp icon even i did not move it from downloads. v strange things are happening .. bit defender premium was configured for top protection at that time. why did not it stopped the hidden software ?

    I promoted you to Level 2 so you can post the links. From what I can see, the URLs in both shared images are genuine links from Adobe.

    Kindly take a look at the images below. The first image is of the online installer, and the second image is of the offline/standalone installer.

    That being said, Bitdefender has nothing to do with this, regardless of the Bitdefender product you are using. Additionally, the PDF you shared is not malicious, as it has been scanned over VirusTotal with the link provided below.

    I did not see any option like the pic you posted for unchecking MacAfee :

    I have many extensions installed in my web browser, including uBlock Origin, uBlock Lite, Bitdefender AntiTracker, Ghostery, etc., but nothing is blocking anything from the Adobe website. Everything seems to be functioning normally. Try resetting your web browser to default to see if the issue resolves, and at the same time, reinstall your extensions. Additionally, follow the steps provided below:

    1) Open the Run command and execute the following commands one by one:

    temp – delete all the files in the folder.

    %temp% – delete all the files in the folder.

    prefetch – delete all the files in the folder.

    2) Run Disk Cleanup using this guide: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/disk-cleanup-in-windows-8a96ff42-5751-39ad-23d6-434b4d5b9a68

    Hi!
    i was facing some other issues too so i ve reinstalled the windows again.
    does '' one click optimizer '' of bit.defender cleans prefetch folder too ? or it needs a manual deletion ? and how does disk clean up helps in my case ? plz specify. thx
