but the question is still there , does bit defender vpn keep hiding the real ip meanwhile it's changing the virtual location ( if already connected )

@Rock.87 I'll rephrase. Whenever you are switching between servers or before you connect to another server, the VPN is not actually connected. The VPN is ON when the message "Connected" is finally displayed in the UI.
So:
VPN conneting… = real IP visible until the connection to the server is established;
VPN switching between servers = real IP visible until the server is successfully changed;
VPN connected = encrypted connection while this status is displayedBut if you are not making any traffic in those few seconds while the VPN connects, I see no reason of concern here. 🙂

Do u mean that if i am connected to the twitter in my browser , and i switch the virtual location & do not make any kind of online activity , i ll be safe ? but why when there is no secure connection as you said :

if this is so then there should a highlight in the I.P. section that kill switch has covered you , is not it work like that ? because the vpn takes few secs & if u refresh the twitter page it wont work until the connection is secured.0 -
