Suspect Bitdefender update 27.0.42.214 on 10/1/24 caused safepay to stop working.
I suspect the update 27.0.42.214 on Bitdefender on 10/1/24 is causing Safepay to stop working on Citizens Banking website. The site was working for at least a year before the update to Bitdefender yesterday. After the update the page will not load. However I am able to connect with no problems using MS Edge along with the Bitdefender VPN. I'm using windows 10 with latest updates.
Citizens Weblink is:

I just updated one of my machines to 27.0.42.214 and
So I cannot confirm at this time, the page seems to load correctly.
Are there any other specific details perhaps? Operating system version, VPN connected to a certain country? Please be as detailed as possible to let us understand what happened, thank you.

I am having similar issues. My login in process works fine until I click submit for authentication code and Safepay freezes with an error code from my Bank saying Oops there's a problem at our end yet they don't think it is their end that is the problem.

I clicked on Sign in, which led me to the page https://secure.pcfinancial.ca/en/login, but I see no authentication code, just Username and Password. Or is the code asked after successfully log in ? (In this case I cannot reproduce, not having an account on pcfinancial).

I'm not willing to give up for now. By any chance, do you know if there is a demo account or something like that? I looked on the website but I could not find anything that could help me at least to simulate the issue.

I am not aware of anything like that being available.

I saw another thread that suggested re-installing Bitdefender.

Yes, there is a policy implemented by many banks to reject (or at least display a warning) when a browser is more than 2 versions older than the currently released (currently Chrome is 130, and market Safepay is based on 127, although we are releasing soon Safepay based on 130). I'm not saying this is the cause, there might be also various authenticators, external apps using non-standard protocols (such as bankid:// for example) etc.
