Does SecurePass have an auto lock feature
This message is in the product guide, but I cant find how its done.
- Did you forget to sign out after using a device that is not yours?! This feature will lock the password manager with a PIN or log you out after a period of inactivity at browser level.

Hello.
I was about to write the same thing.
Unlike Password Manager, the new SecurePass doesn't have an Auto Lock option.
There are only these two options: 1. "Log out from this device" and 2. "Lock account" (log out from all devices).
The Auto Lock feature with PIN code, after some time of inactivity was very handy for me, i and believe it was very handy for many more users.
With only these two options available, after every log out i need to enter my e-mail and password, which takes more time than just entering a four-digit PIN code.
I think that the users should have the ability to choose between "log out" and "auto lock".
Regards.
@camarie @Alexandru_BD Any thoughts on this? Thanks.

Thank you for your prompt reply.
I fully agree this feature is required. Even basic password managers in Chrome etc. require a pin after a short time.
I am using this on a PC. A restart didn't log me out.
Cheers

I don't know the inner plans on SecurePass, but I remember there is something like that on the list. Let me ask the guys taking care of SecurePass and get back.

An autolock feature is a MUST for a password application. Will stick with Password Manager a little while longer.
Maybe I am just paranoid but I would like my password app to help protect me from forgetting to lock it!

Hi,
Autolock will be set at 30s in this update.
Then, in another update (not the one above), users will be able to decide how often they have to re-enter their master password.

Thank you @Alexandru_BD
I assume the update has been released and checked. It is still not locking for me.
I am using Brave v1.73.104 which is basically Chrome.
Should it work on this browser, or do Brave have to upgrade as well?
Cheers

Based on the release notes, the autolock interval was changed to 30s for mobile only, because biometrics can be used. The developers are also looking for ways to implement this change for extensions as well, however, I don't have any additional insights or ETA at this time.
