Bitdefender SecurePass - The new and improved password manager
Hello,
I've noticed Bitdefender has made a new password manager called SecurePass, it works well on both Windows and Android. I especially enjoy it on Android, since it's seamless and works better than the previous password manager (Bitdefender Password Manager).
For the app itself, there are a lot changes. Such as the removal of password change history, or the history of generated passwords. Sadly, these no longer exist. However, on the bright side Bitdefender SecurePass offers a wide variety of changes and upgrades. Such as sharing passwords, group invitations and being able to create separate folders and some great UI changes.
I love the new change, however. Bitdefender SecurePass fails majority of the time in detecting previously added websites. It fails to also detect the fill-form HTML or the auto-fill, which can be a hassle having to open/copy the information through the extension. It also fails in figuring out the website domain, and I would frequently have to add a secondary domain in order for it to work.
That's it, I hope Bitdefender makes some changes in the future.

Hello @Layad N
Thank you so much for your feedback regarding SecurePass. We truly appreciate it.
Please be advised that SecurePass is still in its "infancy", and we are excited about the many more features that are still to come. It is an entirely new product that we hope will surpass the Password Manager soon, as the development teams are working hard to integrate as much user feedback as possible.
I also want to confirm that I have passed along your feedback to the development team. Your input is valuable to them, and the product teams are committed to enhancing SecurePass to meet and exceed your expectations. Also, one of our technicians will get in touch with you soon, to discuss more details about this.
If you have any more suggestions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out.
Regards,
Alex

I'm a new user - we got new PCs and I decided to try to get away from Norton.
The installation process hasn't been smooth, and candidly, the support has been disappointing. The Bot was useless and when I got a human he "escalated". Unfortunately, he escalated to himself and his first email to me was asking me to repeat everything in the chat…..
I appreciate the comments above, I wasn't aware SecurePass was in release 0.9 …. That helps set expectations.
It seems to be a great community - I'm hoping to get past the installation issues so I can really use the product!

What's the difference between Password Manager and SecurePass? Do I have to install both?

Hello :)
The post below and thread should answer your question, and no, you don't have to install both. If you already have Password Manager you can keep it or upgrade to SecurePass, but if you're new to this feature, you will need to buy and install SecurePass from the website.
Cheers :)

I'm no longer a developer but I doubt I would have released any product that was "still in its infancy".
I hope some of these issues will be resolved quickly.
