Firewall missing from protection features dashboard
when i open the protection tab in bitdefender i see 5 icons (Antivirus, online threat, ransomeware, vulnerability, Advance threat) but no firewall icon. why is it missing/how to restore? My Bluesound application cannot see my network library when bitdefender is running as soon as i deactivate bitdefender it runs fine - so i suspect its a firewall setting in bitdefender. Appreciate the help allan

If the issue persists, kindly contact Bitdefender support by visiting
Select, How to's & Troubleshooting Bitdefender products→Troubleshooting→I don't know→Contact Support→ You will get the option of chat, call or email.
To get immediate update, make use of the chat option.
Also, ensure you do not have any ad-blocker or privacy-blocker extensions enabled, as they might prevent the chat window from appearing.

And just to add to Flexx post, did you ever have the Firewall module displayed previously? If so, run a repair as was posted, or do a complete uninstall using the uninstall tool, and reinstall it from your Central Account.
Otherwise, if you're using Antivirus Plus, please note that it does not include the Firewall component as it does with the tiers above it (Internet Security and Total Security).

Scott pointed out a key aspect: do you have Antivirus Plus by any chance? Because this product doesn't include a firewall. So, what we are trying to figure out is if the feature is unavailable altogether, according to the specifications of the product you purchased, or if the firewall is there but cannot be activated, because for this scenario there are a couple of troubleshooting steps that may help correct the problem, for example:
