Black taskbar icon?
Installed BD Security Endpoint Tools agent on Windows 11 24H2 26100.3476 (latest version) images and when updating it seem to crash once. When I finally got it repaired & updated to 2.9.20.519, the taskbar icon is black background with white letter "B". It also wouldn't start the BitLocker encryption process, I had to start it manually?
I did have a previous Windows 11 24H2 26100.3194 that successfully installed the agent without issue and was able to be updated to 26100.3476 without any changes to the taskbar icon or other issues.
After the encryption was completed on the recent 24H2 26100.3476 image, everything seem to work ok, however the taskbar icon is still a black color? Any idea what that means?

Update: It seems that the icon color is based on theme now. It wasn't before. So if you use a dark theme, your icon will be white and if you use a light theme, your icon will be black. So simple wow!😐️

Hello Kevin,
Indeed the color changes based on the theme selected. You also mentioned that during the update it crashed once, is this something that you have seen only for that endpoint or you saw it on others as well. If this is not an isolated event we would need to investigate it with our support team to determine the root cause.
Kind Regards,
Andrei

I have seen it crash once every so often on a new custom Windows enterprise image that I've created. I will recreate a fresh image from scratch, just to see if it's something that was removed from the image, which might have caused the crash. More testing is needed to determine the cause. Thank you for your reply.
