how to I get ahold of a person to talk to

i was renewing my subscription and it gave me a new subscription that expires before my subscription would march 31 is my orginal subscription and the 16 ofmarch isthe new whats the deal

You can contact support from the link below as well as the phone numbers shown, which are not toll free. Here are my default instructions:
Tick the Account, Billing & Subscription box, go through the prompts until you get to the Contact Support button. You will be given 3 support options, Chat can be the quickest way to get things resolved or at least to head you in the right direction, there is also an email and phone support option, which are not toll-free.

To add here, most probably the new subscription you've purchased is not identical with the one you've had before, thus you were only given the option to activate in parallel. More context here:
